Mark W. Tribbett, MHA, FACHE, is president of Socius Health Solutions.
Mark brings to the role of president more than 30 years of health care management with extensive experience as a hospital administrator and consultant. He founded AlphaHealth, LLC, a health care innovations firm focused on strategic planning and the development of health care enterprises, working with more than 50 health care organizations to develop strategic, facility and operations improvement plans, develop new hospital models and provide executive operations leadership.
Mark previously served the Novant Health and Presbyterian Healthcare System as Executive Vice President for the Charlotte region, in addition to other senior positions. He also led hospital operations and the development of Presbyterian Matthews Hospital—a national leader in the patient-centered care model—and oversaw outpatient centers and physician practices. He earned a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Duke University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Virginia Tech.
Alex Harris, MHA, is a Business Analyst.
Alex joined Socius Health Solutions in August 2015, after obtaining a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Georgia Southern University and completing an internship with WakeMed Health & Hospitals. Prior to joining the health care industry, she was an account manager for a multidiscipline real estate firm located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her private sector experience provides a foundation of economic and management understanding, ideal for the focus of developing and executing new health care initiatives. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Appalachian State University.
Michael Crowley is a Business Analyst
Michael joined Socius Health Solutions in October 2015 while pursuing master’s degrees in both Health Administration and Organizational Leadership. He has over 14 years of experience in health care supply chain, inventory management, contract negotiations, and data analysis, with a specialized knowledge in surgical devices and procedures. He also holds over five years of experience in Value Analysis processes, with committee savings surpassing multimillion-dollar targets. His undergraduate education was completed at East Carolina University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Quantifiable Research and Communication.
Kathleen Sapienza is a Project Associate.
Kathleen joined Socius Health Solutions in September 2015, bringing with her experience in both the corporate and health care worlds. Her responsibilities encompass many aspects of our organization, including office operations, accounting, short-term project work and general executive assistance to our team. Kathleen served as executive assistant, physician contracts specialist and patient services representative with WakeMed Health & Hospitals for over 16 years. Before that, she worked at Rex Healthcare, DowElanco and New York Power Authority. Kathleen graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College with bachelor’s degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting.
